The hydraulic grille, also known as the rotary grille, is mainly applicable to drainage pumping stations with large flow rates. It is used at the inlet of rivers and large-scale water conservancy pumping stations, to intercept large solid floating debris in the water body, in order to ensure the smooth flow of water.

Shenghe’s grille adopts a back-down type and a rotating chain type. The over-water grille surface is composed of toothed target plates and fixed grid bars. When sewage flows through, debris larger than the grid gap is intercepted. The teeth of the toothed rake plate extend into the gaps of the grid bars. When the driving device drives the traction chain to rotate, the teeth carry the debris that is trapped on the grille surface from bottom to top to the discharge chute. When the teeth move upward from bottom to top in a specific direction, the debris is pulled off by gravity and falls into the discharge port, then is transported out or undergoes further treatment.
