In recent years, Baoshan City has strengthened water pollution prevention and control through three key measures: implementing surface water quality management targets, regularly reporting water quality conditions, and conducting special investigations and remediation of urban black-odor water bodies. The treatment projects for Honghua River, Daqiao River, and Yichou River in Longyang District have passed provincial acceptance inspections. Multiple drainage outlets within urban built-up areas have been inspected, while sewage treatment issues at medical institutions have also been resolved. Environmental remediation efforts are being progressively advanced at township-level centralized drinking water sources.
