Product composition system:

The spiral press sludge dewatering system consists of a spiral press core, filtration unit, liquid collection tank, drive mechanism, flocculation chamber, and support frame. During operation, the sludge pump lifts sludge into the flocculation chamber while a chemical dosing pump delivers reagents. A motor simultaneously activates the entire mixing system to blend sludge with reagents for thorough flocculation. Once the liquid level reaches the target position, the spiral press core activates. The concentrated sludge then advances continuously along the rotating spiral shaft:

Through sequential rotation of the screw drive shaft, the water in sludge is progressively squeezed out. As the filter cake’s solid content increases continuously, this process achieves continuous dewatering of sludge. In essence, the screw-type sludge dewatering machine operates on the principle of spiral compression. By generating intense pressure through the continuous advancement of the screw shaft and utilizing the microscopic gaps between the rotating ring and stationary ring, it creates a novel solid-liquid separation device for sludge dewatering.

 

Principle of operation:

During operation, sludge enters the filter cylinder through the feed port and is propelled toward the discharge port by spiral blades. As the pitch between the spiral blades gradually decreases, the pressure on the sludge increases continuously. Under this differential pressure, dehydration begins as water flows out through the gaps between stationary rings and moving blades. The equipment also features self-cleaning mechanisms between fixed and movable plates to maintain filter clearance. After thorough dehydration, the sludge cake is discharged from the outlet by the spiral’s continuous movement. Technical Advantage 1: Equipped with proprietary disc pre-concentration devices, this system effectively addresses the limitations of conventional gravity-based thickening methods by achieving integrated high-efficiency concentration, flocculation, and dewatering of low-concentration sludge. Combined with adjustable expansion valves, it optimizes sludge concentration to 2000-50000 mg/L for optimal dewatering performance.

 

Technical Advantage 2: The dynamic-static ring replaces filter cloth, enabling self-cleaning operation without clogging. The spiral plate sludge dewatering machine achieves continuous self-cleaning through the relative movement between rotating spiral shafts and stationary plates, eliminating clogging issues common in traditional equipment. This design enhances oil-contaminant resistance while ensuring easy separation and clog-free operation. Additionally, it eliminates the need for external high-pressure flushing, resulting in eco-friendly cleaning without odors or secondary pollution.

Technical Advantage 3: Low-speed operation, noise-free, and energy-efficient. The spiral press sludge dewatering machine operates at just 2-4 revolutions per minute, achieving only 1/8 of the energy consumption of belt presses and 1/20 of centrifuges. By utilizing internal pressure for dewatering without requiring large components like drums, it significantly reduces water usage, energy consumption, and operational noise. With a unit power consumption of merely 0.01-0.1kwh/kg-DS, this system effectively lowers operational costs in wastewater treatment systems.
